Cursor Camp, interactive multi-player hangout

Cursor Camp is an interactive multiplayer browser experience created by internet legend Neal Agarwal (neal.fun), where up to 1000 players from around the world share the same interactive space in real time. Neal brought me onboard to craft the animation layer in Rive, designing and building more than 40 interactive moments across the camp’s sprawling map, from campfires and caves to beaches, treehouses and lazy rivers. The project pushes the boundaries of what’s possible in the browser, combining lightweight real-time animation systems with playful emergent interactions that made the world feel alive, reactive and endlessly surprising.

Since launch, Cursor Camp has gained widespread attention across the internet, featured in articles, livestreams, social posts and reaction videos celebrating both its technical ambition and playful creativity. The project quickly became a standout example of what modern browser experiences can achieve, with creators and developers across the web highlighting its seamless real-time multiplayer interactions, dense interactive world, and distinctive animation style.
